Recently I was asked to write a guest post for the Goodwill of Northern New England’s blog about Goodwill fashion…and obviously I accepted. The post has gone up and you should check it out! I’m soooo excited!!!!!!! Here’s an excerpt from their intro:
“As we enjoy the peak of fabulous summer weather, it’s also a good time to start planning ahead to make sure that all your fall wardrobe essentials are ready to go. Warm sweaters, skirts in orange, brown and red hues and transitional jackets are great staples to add to your wardrobe. Eva from the Nifty Thrifty Goodwill blog in Burlington, Vermont, shares some great fall essentials she found at our Vermont stores in South Burlington and Williston. What fall essentials do you look for when shopping?”
Let me know if you have any feedback, just share it below! (or you can comment on the post on their blog too)
Happy Thrift Shop Day, everyone! I’m very happy there is a day to honor these fine establishments. Here are some things you could do today to support your local thrift stores:
1. Go shopping
2. Donate items
3. Volunteer your time
4. Spread the news!
Let me know how you are spending this national holiday!
We have been featured!! On: A Good Look by GoodwillNyNj. This blog is fantastic. They really try to give you an in depth look at GW by focusing on all the important aspects-staff, clothes, donations, and the community services it offers. Additionally, the blog does a great job of highlighting fashion at Goodwill…obviously something I’m into. They featured niftythriftygoodwill on a post about Goodwill-fashion-blogs and I’m pretty much ecstatic. Here’s the quote they wrote about my blog:
“With a killer eye for fashion, this site’s tagline is “how to look spectacular at astonishing prices” – & it certainly delivers!”
